Change is coming to the Shops at Crystals in CityCenter. Through
October, four new boutiques will debut and an existing retailer will
expand.
Valentino, a 3,000-square-foot boutique, is scheduled to
open in August, featuring Valentino’s ready-to-wear line, shoes and
handbags. That same month, Richard Mille boutique will open its second
shop in the country and its first in Vegas. German luggage-maker Rimowa
is also opening. In October, Loro Piana will open its doors. The shop
specializes in cashmere, baby cashmere, Vicuna products and luxury goods
from Italy. Tourbillon, an existing retailer, is expanding and will
finish in October. Construction on The Shops at Crystals is under way.
Art gallery
Jeff Mitchum, famed nature photographer, opened a new fine art gallery at MGM Grand this month.
The
new addition is his second gallery in Las Vegas. In 2011, Mitchum
opened a gallery in Bellagio after waiting for the opportunity for more
than 10 years.
Mitchum’s work is known for its color and
composition. Among his most well-known photographs is “Third Day,” a
photo of sunlight streaming over the Eastern Sierra, underlined by a
band of trees with fall-colored leaves. It took Mitchum 15 years to take
the shot that he now calls his “Mona Lisa.” It is priced at $1.7
million. Along with his artwork, the Mitchum gallery at MGM Grand
showcases his eco-friendly furniture, too.
Expect lots of sparkle, body paint and unique make-up at this year's L*Space swimwear show at Raligh Hotel in Miami Beach.

Wise's designs will include a lot of blues, yellows and aquas on
reversable swimsuits, some of which can also be used as undergarmets for
a layered look.
“Customers want more and more uses to their bikinis,” Wise said. “It’s not just for the beach, it’s for off the beach.”
Wise has targeted woman from ages 18 to 40 that are “active, passionate and big on travel,” she said.
“We
try to keep our styles fresh,” Wise said. “I try to make sure that I
have enough skimpiness for the 18-year-old and enough support pieces for
the 40-year-old.”
The beach inspired collection will also have
an entire selection of apparel, which will include sheer cover-ups and
crochet pieces.
“I continue to tell my story through my
collection.” Wise said. “I love every year setting a game plan and

Wise has been preparing the collection for the past six months, and has been inspired by her travels, handbags and others.

the future, she hopes to expand her line to include home designs and
interiors. She would also like to expand her team and include
activewear.
“My mentality has always been to be different, compelling and special,” she said.
She

Choose" is tweaked to the trivial "A Woman's Right to Shoes".
